        Mountain bike tour Welschtobel

        Program
        Alvaneu - Furcletta - Arosa - Urdenfürgli - Lenzerheide

        From Alvaneu the route leads along good forest roads to the Alp da la Creusch. The route continues on trails until the final climb to the Furcletta, the last 200 hm or so are covered by foot.
        We are rewarded with a gorgeous flowing trail descent through the wild and romantic Welschtobel to Arosa. That's where we take the Hörnli cable car to help us. Now we either take the connecting cable car Urdenbahn to Urdenfürggli or if we still have enough strength in our legs we go to Urdenfürggli using our own power, the additional loop is about 1.5 hours. (We decide depending on time and condition of the group)
        From Urdenfürggli we take the trail down to Scharmoin and arrive flowing at the bike kingdom Lenzerheide.

        All challenging parts can also be easily overcome by foot.

        Skills
        Condition for about six-hour bike tour (1500m ascent, 2200m descent), only for experienced mountain bikers who are confident on challenging single trails. Single trail scale S2-S3 (challenging parts can also be mastered well walking).

        • Helmet (mandatory up and down)
        • Protectors for the downhill are recommended

        8.10 a.m. at the parking lot of the Lenzerheide Rothornbahn, Postbus from 8.41 a.m. Lenzerheide/Lai, Post to Alvaneu

        Public transport:
        Lenzerheide is easily accessible by public transport. With the post bus at 08:00 am from Chur you reach the 08:41 am post bus.
