Splitboard try-out course Engadin
We meet at 8 am in front of the Bergsteigerschule office in Pontresina. You will be equipped under expert guidance right next door in the Go Vertical Shop Pontresina. Afterwards we walk up through the village in a few minutes. At the top of the village, ideal terrain already awaits us for your first splitboarding experiences. We take our first steps on the piste, but soon leave it and continue to ascend towards Alp Languard. We'll get as deep as we can, the focus is on the experience and the beginning of training.
The training contents are: Introduction to splitboarding, handling the equipment (including converting from walking to skiing and vice versa), introduction to avalanche transceivers, ascent technique, combined with a short ascent.
The taster course concludes with a descent including the basics of skiing technique. The course ends at approx. 1:00pm.
