Ski tours introductory course Engadin
We meet at 8:30 am at the office of the Pontresina Mountaineering School. You will be equipped under expert guidance right next door in the Go Vertical Shop Pontresina. Afterwards we walk up through the village in a few minutes. The ideal terrain for your first ski touring experiences awaits us at the top of the village. We take our first steps on the piste, but soon leave it and continue to ascend towards Alp Languard. We'll go as deep as we can, the focus is on the experience and the beginning of training.
The training contents are: Introduction to ski touring, handling the equipment, introduction to avalanche transceivers, ascent technique, combined with a short ascent.
We conclude the teaser course with a descent, including the basics of skiing technique. The course ends at about 1pm.
