We meet for dinner in the Chamanna Es-cha, discuss the daily program and check our equipment.

Day 1
Keschnadel and crossing to Piz Kesch
From the Es-cha hut we climb up to Porta d'Es-cha. We only walk a short distance across the glacier to the entrance at the Keschnadel. A nice climb in the fourth level leads us up to the summit. If conditions allow, we continue our tour immediately and make the crossing to Piz Kesch. Now we descend along the normal path and return to the Es-cha hut.
