BASICS OF AVALANCHE AWARENESS AND RESCUE
The first day focuses on the basics of avalanche awareness. The brief theoretical explanations are immediately put into practice in the field. The main topics are interpretation of the avalanche bulletin, assessment of the snowpack structure, rescue and tour planning. The tour planning we do immediately for the joint tour on the following day.

APPLICATION TOUR
Today a small application tour is on the program. Throughout the tour we have plenty of time to look at terrain assessment, route selection and track layout, as well as risk-mitigating tactics on the ascent and descent.
Skills
No previous experience required, suitable for beginners, but also as a refresher. However, good technique on the slopes with skis or snowboard is required.
