Ski Touring Taster Course Davos
We meet at Fullmoons Bergsport in Davos Dorf at 8:15 am. Those who have booked the Material Package will now be equipped. Then it's a few minutes' walk to the Pischa Terminal (Seehofseeli) and from there onwards with the Pischa shuttle bus to the Pischa valley station, the alternative winter sports area. Apart from the gondola lift, there are no other ski lifts and there are also no pistes to be found on Pischa. With its sunny south-facing slopes, Pischa offers ideal terrain for your first ski touring experiences. The descent at the end of the course takes us to the Pischa valley station. During this, of course, there will also be tips on skiing technique in the backcountry.
Training content: Introduction to ski touring, handling of equipment, basic knowledge of avalanche transceivers, ascent technique (combined with a short ascent), basics of downhill technique.
End of course: approx. 13.00
