Ski Touring Beginners weekend in Monstein
We will meet Friday 9AM at the Fullmoons shop in Davos Dorf. As soon as you are equipped with all the material we will start. We make our first ski touring experiences together in easy terrain. Furthermore we will cover following topics: Introduction to ski touring, handling of equipment, introduction to avalanche transceivers and ascent technique.
After the tour we will go to our accommodation for the weekend, the cosy ski touring Hotel Ducan in Davos Monstein.
At the hotel we will have a welcome aperitif with the hotelier and the mountain guide.
On Saturday we will start our skitour straight from the hotel. You will see why Monstein is called the small ski touring paradise of Davos. Far away from the hustle and bustle, there are some quite and beautiful ski tours here. The run down from the summit leads us directly to the sun terrace of the Hotel Ducan. There you should try the in Monstein brewed beer before relaxing in the hotels private sauna.
Sunday, we will meet in Monstein again for your last ski tour together. Please return the rental material to the Fullmoons shop at the end of your ski touring days.

Public transport:
Monstein can be reached from Davos by post bus.
Davos village is easily accessible by public transport. It only takes a few minutes to walk or take the local bus to the Fullmoons Bergsport on Promenade 127.
