Thursday

The only thing planned for Thursday is the journey to the idyllic Walser village of Monstein. The Hotel Ducan is located directly opposite the famous Monstein brewery.
The hotel was opened in 1896 as Kurhaus Monstein and has been run as an inn ever since. In 2008 all rooms were completely renovated and today the house offers 12 modern rooms with shower/WC and 6 nostalgic rooms in the attic with shower/WC on the floor. In the midst of an imposing mountain world, the first thing to do here is to arrive, relax and enjoy.

After a great day of ski touring, the Hotel Ducan's ‘Saunahüschi’ with its mountain springs invites you to cool down and relax after an eventful day. On Friday evening, the Monstein brewery invites you to sample a beer or two in the brewery cellar while chatting with the brewer. We enjoy a 4-course menu every evening in the cosy and historic Arven Stube. There is a choice of a meat menu and a vegetarian menu every day.
