        Chamonna Linard

        We meet shortly before dinner at the Linard hut, the Chamonna Linard. The hut is a newly built SAC hut in traditional style. It is maintained during the summer by members of the "Secziun Engiadina Bassa" of the SAC, who work for the benefit of the club and the guests without any compensation.

        Piz Linard

        The Piz Linard is the highest mountain of the Silvretta. From the hut we follow a hiking trail to Laj da Glims. Following the trail we now approach the south wall, through gullies we reach a less pronounced ridge next to the main gully. Over this we ascend in an easy scramble up to a ledge in the southwest ridge. We follow the ridge and soon reach the wonderful view summit.
        We descend the same way.

        Parking:
        In Lavin there are parking places just behind the village.
        Public transport:
        Arrival by train to Lavin.
        Accomodation / comfort
        Simple SAC hut. We will come back there again. That means you can deposit any extra material in the hut.
        Good to know
        The ascent to the hut can be shortened. With a driving permit we drive up to Plan dal Bügl (2000m): Meeting point at 4:30pm in Zernez.
