        Alpintrekking Bernina

        Day 1
Diavolezza - Morteratsch glacier - Bovalhütte

We already enjoy the wonderful view over the Alps when we arrive at the Diavolezza. But these days there are still plenty of unique panoramas - as well as cosy hut evenings, summit ascents, valley crossings and glacier experiences.
Today we already climb the first 3000m with the Sass Queder, which stands right next to the Diavolezza. Now we hike on to the Persgletscher and enter it where the mountaineers do it early in the morning to climb the Piz Palü. But on the glacier we soon turn right and follow it in the direction of the river past the Isla Persa until its end. Where once there were wild crevasses, we enter the Morteratsch Glacier. We cross this glacier in a slight arc and thus get very close to the labyrinth and the impressive eastern flank of Piz Bernina. Soon we are at the cosy Bovalhütte.

        Day 2
Lejets da Boval – Piz Misaun 3250m – Fuorcla Tschierva – Tschierva Hut

Today we start early in the morning, because we have a long day ahead of us. We reach the Fuorcla dals Lejets via mountain trails, rock slabs and boulder terrain. We pass the small mountain lakes Lejets da Boval. The transition to Fuorcla Misaun is the key point of our crossing of the Bernina region. We reach Fuorcla Misaun via a simple ridge. Meanwhile we enjoy the breathtaking view over to Piz Morteratsch. Another ascent is approaching. Over the Vadret da Misaun we climb up to Fuorcla Tschierva in total seclusion and peace. The panorama opens once again: Piz Bernina, Piz Scerscen and Piz Roseg are right in front of us. Via the Vadrettin da Tschierva we descend to the Tschierva hut.

        Day 3
Tschierva Hut – Val Roseg – Coaz Hut

Today's leg takes us down into the Val Roseg. At the bottom of the valley we cross the glacier stream, the Ova da Roseg over an exciting rope bridge. In the ascent to the Coaz hut we pass the picturesque Lej da Vadret.

        Day 4
Piz Chapütschin 3386m – Fuorcla Surlej - Mittelstation Murtèl

We climb the Piz Chapütschin over the glacier of the same name and end with an easy climb. We descend to the Coaz hut on the same path. Now we take the beautiful high trail to Fuorcla Surlej, where we enjoy the view of the mighty round Piz Morteratsch, Bernina, Scerscen and Roseg for the last time. We board the Corvatschbahn at the middle station Murtèl.
