Little Drusenturm “Dietrich-Mader”
The fastest way up to Carschina Hütte is along the alproad:
Starting at Parkplatz Nr. 6 over the bridge, direction Alp Carschina Obersäss, from there on over the connecting road to the hut. Duration: ca. 1½ to 2 h
The way up over Bärgli or over Partnun ist more scenic, but a little longer. Taking the Bus Alpin will shorten your way. (Schedule: www.busalpin.ch).
At the Carschina Hütte you will meet your guide over dinner.
The "Dietrich-Mader"-track takes the easiest way across the SE-face of the little Drusenturm with in total 12 rope-lengts to the summit. This is a classic via ferrata in upper 4th grade(4c). The climbing is extremely varied: cracks, slabs, chimneys This route has been taken into Walter Pauses guide "Im schweren Fels''. classic via ferrata to enjoy The guide contains a selection of the 100 most beautiful pleasure climbs in the entire Alps.
We descend via the normal route on the north side and reach the Drusator and the Carschina Hut again via a short counter-ascent.
