Skitouring Introduction Course Chur
Day 1
Little skitour in the area of Hochwang
We meet at 8.30 am at the Shop Exodus by Go Vertical in Chur (Obere Gasse 48). You will be provided with expert advice. Then we walk to the train station Chur Altstadt, which is only a few minutes from the shop and take the train and bus up to the chairlift of the skiing resort Hochwang. With the chairlift we reach the Hochwang Skiing area in only a few minutes. Here we find ideal terrain for your first skitouring steps.
The training contents are: Introduction to ski touring, handling the equipment, introduction to Avalanche transceiver, ascent technique, combined with a short ascent.
The teaser course ends with a downhill run including basics of skiing technique. The course ends at about 1pm.
Skills
No special requirements. But you should be able to ski well and safe on the piste.

Good to know
You get the material package in our partnershop Exodus by Go Vertical. The shop is located in the old town of Chur, only a few minutes by foot from the train station in Chur. (Obere Gasse 46, 7000 Chur). For the tour we meet directly in the shop.
