      Splitboard Introduction Course Chur

      Day 1
      Small splitboardtour in the area of the ski resort Hochwang

      We will meet at 8.30 am at Go Vertical in Chur (Obere Gasse 48). You will be provided with expert advice. Then we walk to the train station Chur Altstadt, which is only a few minutes from the shop and take the train and bus up to the chairlift of the skiing resort Hochwang. With the chairlift we reach the Hochwang Skiing area in only a few minutes. There we find ideal terrain for your first trys on a splitboard.
      The most important things we learn today are: introduction to splitboarding, handling of equipment (changing from walking to skiing and vice versa), introduction to avalanche transceivers, ascent technique, combined with a short ascent.
      We conclude the introduction course with a downhill run including basics on skiing technique. The course ends at about 1pm.

      No special requirements. But you can snowboard well and safe on the slopes.

      Chur can easily be reached by public transport. You can walk to our partner shop GoVertical at Obere Gasse 48 from Chur train station in just a few minutes.

      Good to know
      You can purchase the material package in our partner shop Go Vertical. The shop is located in the old town of Chur, only a few minutes by foot from the train station in Chur. (Obere Gasse 46, 7000 Chur). For the tour we meet directly in the shop.
