Panoramic hike Val Roseg
We start our hike with a wonderful view of the Engadine lakes, as we take the cable car to the Corvatsch middle station (Murtèl). On a wide path we start in the direction of Fuorcla Surlej, where our views are now directed to the higher mountains. The Bernina massif and the Sella group, as well as the glacier world all around, show themselves impressively to us. We can now admire this panorama on the high trail and finally reach the SAC hut Chamanna Coaz. Not far from the glacier and majestically situated on a small rocky peak, the hut is the ideal place for our lunch break. Then we head out of the valley, first a short steep descent to the huge glacial lake Lej da Vadret and then along the lake to the glacier forefield of the Roseg and Tschierva glaciers. We officially end our hike at the Hotel Restaurant Roseg Glacier. Those who wish can stay in Val Roseg, walk along the forest road to Pontresina or take the horse-drawn carriage out of the valley.
