Everyone who lives in Davos or goes on holiday in Davos wants to be up there for once. Thomas Mann had already described it:
"supernatural, reverberatory, inaccessible," in a word, "The Magic Mountain!"
We start early in the morning by car and drive via Filisur up to Alp Spadlatscha. After the ascent, there is an easy climb to the top of the Matterhorn of Graubünden in the upper part. We descend to the small, charming Ela Hut SAC.
Today we set off for the summit of the second of the three Bergünerstöcke (Piz Ela, Tinzenhorn, Piz Mitgel). From the hut, we reach the start of the normal route over the west ridge at the Furtschella via boulder fields. The ascent first goes over boulder bands and steps, then initially easy scrambling and finally also climbing to the pre-peak. Then continue onto the main Gifel. In the upper part there are small climbing sections in solid rock. The descent takes us back the same way, we climb down and can partly descend. The descent again takes a lot of time and concentration.
Gerne reservieren wir dir auf Wunsch das gewünschte Mietmaterial.
The Bergünerstöcke with the peaks Piz Mitgel, Tinzenhorn and Piz Ela lie in the centre of the nature park. In this majestic mountain landscape, the Ela and Orgel Passes connect the main valleys of the nature park, the Surses and the Albula valleys.
