Day 1
So close to Piz Palü
From Berghaus Diavolezza we hike around the Piz Trovat up to the Pers glacier. On the way we have a wonderful view of the Bernina Pass with Lago Bianco. After a short drinking break we hike further over the Pers glacier. Above us are the imposing Cambrena ice falls. Under the rock spur of Crap Pers we have time for a lunch break under the spell of Piz Palü. After another hour across the glacier we reach the large lateral moraine and climb back up to Diavolezza along a steep path. From the viewing terrace we marvel once again at our round tour and the breathtaking glacier world of the Bernina massif.

Skills
It is important to be sure-footed and fit for a five-hour hike. Children from 8 years welcome.
